Today 1 of my dreams becomes true, and I am sharing with you. Those months and months I missed my home deeply, it seemed so far away … the trance feeling in my nightly dreams, so vivid and yet so real: images, movements, warmth, even tastes and gentle touches … Through sound and word, finally I am able to bring that dream from far to near, here it is.

Like a feather, two and half years blow away in a blink of eye with one single breath. “Angels on the Run” came to me during the first month while we were locked down, looking out of my window, birds were flying between city trees and Manhattan Skyscrapers, it was so heavy at times that seamed never there would be an end. We needed light, we wanted hope, but darkness had us all… Well, with or without our blessing, time passed, here we are 2022. Life itself just showed us again, it will always go on.

If Sequoia East is the path of finding, Sound of Happiness is the organic and authentic emergence of Violet Aura. Who I am. What I want. Where I want to go. That calling comes to me as an Angela’s hand – a light of enlightenment shining through the night, lighting up the path. The awakening within is so strong and yet so happy. I an sharing that happiness with you, the bright place with harmony, peace and excitement – the Sound of Happiness.

The song came to me on a beautiful fall morning, with birds circling near my window, above the tips of tall trees, and amidst the Manhattan skyscrapers. I was transported back to the day when I first left Beijing to live in Paris. It was that same fall feeling, sunny and crisp. With a big suitcase, long trench coat, and banana twist hair, I flew away, like a bird, above the strongest Sequoia trees on earth. Leaving the east. Traveling far, far away from home. To be free. To be me.
